Rekha launched her successful career in digital visual art design (broadcast graphics and animation) for TV-18 in New Delhi in 1996 until 1998. She worked on numerous television productions, broadcasting and industrial animation programs and commercials during this period.

After perfecting her visual effect skills at TV-18, she moved on to become Visual Effect Producer at Spark Connections, New Delhi in October 1998, whereby she embarked her career in designing and producing special visual effects, graphics designs and animation for a prominent clientele. Rekha demonstrated her unique multi-faceted talent as an accomplished animator and graphic artist during this period.

In April 2004, Rekha joined B.INC Vfx Production Services as a partner and visual effects producer. Since then, Rekha has worked on and delivered many successful motion pictures, television and commercial projects. The company soon branched into 2 independent divisions in December 2006 - Ropetrick Films Pvt Limited in India and BINK BKK VFX in Bangkok. Rekha remains a founder director in both.

Rekha is on the Board of Directors at Rhombus since January 2009 and essays her role of an International Business Consultant to perfection. She also heads the Visual Effects business at Rhombus.
