Joydeep started his career as a Video Editor in 2008. Armed with a Video Editing Diploma from one of India’s premier institutes, ZIMA, Joydeep soon ventured into freelance video editing for well-known brands in the media industry.

An expert at Avid and FCP, Joydeep worked for Zee Muzic, Zee Café, Zee Trendz, Moser Baer and Reliance among others, carrying out various Editing responsibilities. Joydeep also exposed himself to feature films and documentaries editing by assisting established Editors, thus understanding the craft better on a larger canvas. Apart from working as an Editor, Joydeep is also a thorough researcher, who keeps himself up-to-date with the rapidly changing editing technology.

At present, Joydeep is working with Rhombus as an Asst. Film Editor for the feature film Kalpvriksh (the wishing tree)
